The historic site of Perperikon offers a fantastic insight into a lost civilisation. Although it is an extremely difficult archaeological site to climb and walk around, it is well worth a visit if you are in Southern Bulgaria. The position of Perperikon is concealed as you approach on the surrounding roads to it and its only as you are very close to Perperikon that you can begin seeing this archaeological site!
There was plenty of parking which cost 1 leva and no entrance fee!
