Transportation Bulgarian Style!
Well, I really must say, that Bulgaria has the most delightful transportation I have seen in donkey’s years! 
Ancient Trabbants, the paper mache car, horse and cart, donkey and cart, pedal power, tractors, huge Russian trucks and lots of hitch-hikers!
Transportation in Bulgaria comes in many forms! Most transportation of goods is still carried out by the Bulgarian Donkeys the Bulgarian donkeys are very well cared for, fed, watered and loved! Other heavy goods transportation vehicles consist of ancient Russian Trucks and very eco friendly transportation systems are still in use in Bulgaria today!
I moved house and had a fantastic tractor with trailor help with my home removals and had a very special white man van! Now that’s what you call real transportation!
Pedal power is also still very much in use plus very common are the old paper mache Trabant cars!
New in the paper mache Trabant pickup plus the Trabant that is really so eco friendly it wants to be a tree!
And just how big is the Toyota Hilux Surf diesel?
The transportation in Bulgaria is changing with the times, faster more powerful cars are now travelling along the ancient pot holed roads, the road system in Bulgaria has not improved in the four years I have lived in Bulgaria, but traffic is becoming heavier and faster!
Howevers there are numerous police speed checks, with on the spot fines for speeding or drink driving.
There is no getting out of these fines, if you are caught speeding or over the limit with booze, you will get fined!
Even though many new and bigger cars are now to be seen on the roads, the amount of horse and carts, or donkeys and carts have not decreased.
Bulgarian transportation even comes nowadays in the form of huge juggernauts traversing the twisty windey bendy narrow roads of southern Bulgaria!
